BALTIC 39 opening April 2012
BALTIC 39, a new cultural hub for contemporary art located on High Bridge in the heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, will open to the public on Friday 6 April 2012. This exciting venture is a collaboration between Newcastle City Council, Arts Council England, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and Northumbria University.
Six Rooftop Restaurant
Six is the stunning rooftop restaurant is brought to by Fresh Element, BALTIC’s food, beverage & events partner. Located on the top floor of BALTIC the restaurant showcases spectacular panoramic views of the Gateshead Quayside and Newcastle’s cityscape. Head Chef, Adam Hegarty creates beautiful dishes that draw on the best local ingredients of the season and he never fails to design dishes that tantalise every taste bud.
With a delicious lunch menu, early diner specials and a la carte menus available it’s the perfect place to relax with friends, enjoy a celebratory meal with friends or enjoy a romantic dinner for two.
Six’s Viewing Lounge is open throughout the day for drinks. With its floor to ceiling windows overlooking the River Tyne making it the perfect place to enjoy a drink before heading home.
