BALTIC 39, a new cultural hub for contemporary art located on High Bridge in the heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, will open to the public on Friday 6 April 2012. This exciting venture is a collaboration between Newcastle City Council, Arts Council England, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and Northumbria University.
In a unique collaboration between Sony Playstation and artist duo Kozyndan, BALTIC present a season of interactive and innovative projects based around Kozyndan's artwork.
Kozyndan's artwork can be enjoyed throughout the building, with two panoramic drawings on Level 3 of BALTIC, including a new commission of the NewcastleGateshead cityscape. Playstation Portable and Playstation 2 consoles are situated across BALTIC, allowing you to explore the artwork in more detail.
A new, exclusive documentary on the madcap world of Kozyndan filmed in High Definition and a fully animated version of the NewcastleGateshead panorama is available to view on Playstation 3 in BALTIC's Level 4 gallery space.
View the video above to see Kozyndan's NewcastleGateshead panorama in a specially animated version. Bet you can't guess what the outcome of the battling robots is...
