BALTIC presents a site-specific collaborative commission by artist Sara Barker and Ryder Architecture. Working with a combination of painting, welding and jewellery-making techniques, Barker draws out unexpected properties in material with a sculptural fluidity and lightness.

BALTIC presents a special evening event with Jim Shaw, one of America's most important and prolific artists. Shaw will be speaking with Laurence Sillars, Chief Curator, about his extraordinary body of work and the acclaimed exhibition The Rinse Cycle. The conversation will be followed by an opportunity for the audience to ask their own questions. Shaw will also be signing copies of the exhibition catalogue, available from BALTIC Shop.
