Noizechoir will be devising a series of pieces within several different spaces at BALTIC moving from  Level 1 to The Street. Join us for a unique evening of choral creativity as Noizechoir respond to Janet Cardiff's remarkable Forty Part Motet in their own idiosyncratic style.

The Noizechoir
was formed by a group of Tyneside based noise enthusiasts to explore the sonic possibilities of the human voice outside the traditional choral setting.Noizechoir are about experimental live events, video soundtracks and site specific performances in architectural spaces from the Tyne pedestrian tunnel to city underpasses.

STEVE LEGGET (FOUR HANDS) & SHEMALE
We are pleased to announce in addition to the Noize Choir the performance will include two North East electronic music artists: Steve Legget (Four Hands) & Shemale from the Newcastle upon Tyne based record label Signals.

Steve Legget and Shemale will be performing exclusive pieces using only vocal recordings and samples of previous Noize Choir performances and rehearsals.

Signals is a Newcastle upon Tyne based record label that deals primarily in vinyl releases. Signals was formed in 2010 by Mike McHugh, Chris and Peter Leathley. They have released a diverse range of material to date including the recent Mammoth Mountain EP with North East experimentalists :zoviet*france:
