Exhibitions / BALTIC, Gateshead

Janet Cardiff

16 June 2012 - 14 October 2012

Co-commissioned by BALTIC as part of our pre-opening programme, we are delighted to present Janet Cardiff’s The Forty Part Motet which has delighted and moved audiences around the world over the last decade

Mark Wallinger

22 June 2012 - 14 October 2012

BALTIC presents SITE, Mark Wallinger's largest exhibition in the UK for over a decade. Wallinger will realise three major new commissions and give the UK premiere of his new film Construction Site 2011.

Richard Rigg

18 May 2012 - 9 September 2012

Playful and often humorous, Richard Rigg’s sculptures manipulate everyday objects, asking us to view their physicality and function in a new light. Previously he has re-tuned a piano entirely to middle C and manipulated a meter ruler so that it formed a perfect circle.
