Toddlers are especially welcome to BALTIC on Tuesdays. Join in the fun, as a BALTIC artist leads a practical session using a variety of materials, colours, shapes and textures. Don’t wear your Sunday best as we can’t guarantee you won’t get a bit messy. On arrival tickets can be bought from the session leader before the fun begins. Activities are aimed at children aged 2-4 years old, but the session is open to all under 4 year olds. Max 15 places. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Children can get green fingered at BALTIC this spring without getting their hands dirty, as Quay is transformed into an artistic allotment for the school holidays. Celebrate the arrival of spring and help to create flowers, vegetables and plants for the allotment, with these free, artist led activities.

Create a beautiful spring gift with this family workshop. Children can use the art materials provided to make their very own decoration which they can take away with them and give to a loved one.
