BALTIC Editions

Marking its tenth birthday, BALTIC launched a new specially commissioned range of limited artist prints, BALTIC Editions. The donated works, all by artists who have exhibited previously at BALTIC, will go on sale in 2012 with proceeds helping support BALTIC’s exhibition and education programme.

Housed in a landmark industrial building on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, BALTIC is a major international centre for contemporary art.

Each of its images has been appropriated from one already in circulation in America during the 1960s and as such exists as a form of archive of the tastes and aesthetics of that decade.
