Event and Ticket Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking Opportunities:
BALTIC and BALTIC 39 events tickets can be purchased online at BALTIC Shop balticmill.com/shop

BALTIC and BALTIC 39 do not offer a phone booking service for paid for events.  

On the day of the event tickets will be removed from sale online at 12noon or 4 hours prior to the event, depending on which is first. 

Tickets are only valid for the event at the time and date indicated on the ticket or e-ticket. It is advised that bookers arrive at least 10mins before the advertised start time of an event.

No tickets are mailed to purchasers unless Gift Wrapping is selected as a purchasing option.

Click & Collect is not available as a shipping option on any Ticket or Voucher purchases. 

E-tickets bought online can be printed or shown on mobile phones/smartphones. If showing e-tickets on a smartphone or mobile device, additional proof of identity is required such as a debit card, driving licence, passport. 

Method of Payment:
Tickets can be purchases from BALTIC Shop Online using VISA / MasterCard / Amex / Maestro / JCB.

Discounted tickets are available to those in full-time education, full-time students with a valid NUS card, people who classify themselves as disabled, people aged 60 years or over and the unwaged.

For family events a separate Child’s price will be available and shown on all promotional and marketing materials.

We attempt to make our building accessible to everyone. If you have any particular requirements please inform the Shop sales staff when booking or if booking online please call BALTIC Reception 0191 478 1810. Attending Family Events with Babies:
Children under the age of 2 years can attend Family events free of charge and a ticket is not required. All children from the age of 2 who wish to enter the event space must have a children’s ticket.

Refunds & Exchanges:
Tickets are purchased subject to availability. 

We are unable to offer refunds on purchased tickets except in the unlikely occasion that an event is cancelled; at this time only the face value of the ticket will be refunded.

Events may be delayed, cancelled or postponed so please check the website balticmill.com for the latest news before arriving for an event.

f you opted to add a donation to BALTIC in your transaction, the donation amount is always non-refundable even in the event of a shop product being refundable. 

BALTIC Shop and BALTIC Shop Online is managed by Baltic Flour Mills Visual Arts Trading Ltd.

Data Protection:
BALTIC conforms to the Data Protection Act 1998 and we are committed to protecting your privacy. Disclosure of your personal details at the time of booking, either on-line or in person, gives us consent to the collection and safe storage and processing of this information and for processing your order.

BALTIC / BALTIC 39 and any visiting company / artist / performers contributing to the booked event are recognised as the first party.

Following your booking we, the first party, may use the collected personal data to inform you of news or other events at BALTIC or BALTIC 39. You may choose to receive this information by post, email, or both. We may also use this data to track marketing and booking trends.

If the first party is not BALTIC or BALTIC 39, then they shall only have permission to make a single contact by post, at which point they must remove your details from their system, unless you specifically ask for your details to be retained.

We may also, with your consent, pass on your personal details to third parties or similar arts organisations for the purposes of mailing you products that may be of interest to you.

If you do not wish to receive information from us in the future please inform the member of BALTIC Shop staff at the time of booking or un-tick the sign up boxes during the online booking process.

Six Vouchers
BALTIC Shop and BALTIC Shop online sell vouchers for Six Restaurant on behalf of Fresh Element.

Vouchers for Six can be bought in denominations of £25.00 and can be redeemed up to the value of £25 against food and drink in Six up to one year from the purchase date.

The vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for any other product.

Six Afternoon Tea Vouchers are sold in multiples of guests, between 2-8 and available in three options 

1) Afternoon Tea £14.95 per guest (£12.46+VAT)

2) Cocktail Afternoon Tea £22.95 per guest (£19.13+VAT)

3) Champagne Afternoon Tea £20.95 per guest (£17.46+VAT)

The retail price is no. of guests x menu, e.g. Cocktail Afternoon Tea for 7 = £22.95 x 7 = £160.65. If the menu specified on the voucher is not available, Fresh Element / Six will offer a menu of equivalent or greater value. The voucher is valid for one year from the purchase date sold through BALTIC Shop and BALTIC Shop online.
