BxNU is a significant collaboration between Northumbria University and BALTIC. This ground breaking partnership creates a learning environment that unites academic research excellence and innovative contemporary art practice.

BALTIC offers a range of special events for families to get involved in every season, most of which are completely free. Additionally, BALTIC has specially dedicated area called Quay for families to learn, create and play.

BALTIC offers a range of activities for Teens and Young People including the Blah Blah Blah panel who explore contemporary art.

BALTIC hosts a range of activities to support teachers including informal network events, BALTIC Buddies and the MA Fine Art & Education for Artist Teachers course in association with Northumbria University.
