BALTIC’s Library is free to use, open to all and a great place to dip further into art and design. This is the place to browse our collection of over 10,000 books or look through some of our magazines on contemporary art and design. There are also computers to watch over 300 videos and films on BALTIC exhibitions or access thousands of archive images and documents.
This relaxed drop-in area is now seven days a week during gallery opening hours. You don’t need an appointment to use the Library but booking is advised if you would like to access our full range of archive material.
