MA Fine Art & Education course in association with Northumbria University

Designed for Secondary and Primary Teachers interested in extending a current specialism or interest in Art, Craft and Design in education, participants will be able to apply their learning in and through their professional practice.

BALTIC facilitates a series of high quality Continuing Professional Development workshops and seminars for teachers and other learning professionals. Our events are suitable for those working in primary, secondary and post-16 settings and offer a valuable opportunity to share and develop your teaching practice, learn new skills and feel better equipped to both manage and affect change in your setting. 

BALTIC hosts a series of Teacher Network Events which are a great way to keep up to date with what's going on in your region. Find out about events and projects, share ideas and practice and catch-up with likeminded colleagues in a relaxed setting. 

MA Fine Art & Education course in association with Northumbria University

For artist teachers wanting to further or re-establish their artistic practicedevelop your personal and professional artistic practice with this flexible part-time MA course. The course enables artist educators, to further or re-establish their artistic practice within a supportive, innovative and creative environment, with tutorials and taught sessions on evenings and weekends at Northumbria University and at BALTIC.

Sarah Latheron
Force 2014

This Award indicates the value and status we place on ARTIST TEACHERS at every level of education and within the field of Gallery Education. 

This year's winner is Sarah Latheron whose exhibition was selected by BALTIC Director Godfrey Worsdale. Force runs from 18 January - 30 March 2014 in Level 2.
