Every Tuesday in Quay, BALTIC Learning space will be transformed into a magical town for children under 5 and their families to play with art.

Take a trip around BALTIC’s exhibitions with one of our friendly Crew who can offer fun and engaging ways to enjoy and learn more about contemporary art.

Come to BALTIC this spring half term to create a giant portrait from found images inspired by Lorna Simpson’s exhibition. With the help of BALTIC artists, pick, cut and stick images from magazines and papers that represent you or your loved ones and use it to create a giant collage to be displayed in Quay, BALTIC’s learning space.

Sun 15 - Sun 15 Jun 2014 / 14.00 - 16.00

Come down to BALTIC for Father’s Day and spend time together whilst having fun and making art. The session will be themed around super heroes; with the help of our artists, create your own favourite super hero mask out of art materials.
