This first European retrospective presents more than 30 years of Lorna Simpson's work across the mediums of photography, film, video, and drawing. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Simpson became well-known in the mid-1980s for her conceptually rigorous and language driven large-scale works.

Join us in BALTIC River Terrace for a fun-filled Father’s Day lunch for all the family. Our fantastic hospitality partner Fresh Element will be serving up a delicious sharing lunch for everyone to enjoy at the table. Enjoy baked Camembert with dipping breads, a carved Roast Chicken with all the trimmings and a deliciously creamy Eton Mess.
If Dad see’s himself as the next Jimi Hendrix or Johnny Marr he can show off his lightning skills and battle is out with the kids on our Wii Guitar Hero for a chance to win some Father’s Day goodies from BALTIC SHOP. Guy Adams Duo will be performing a live acoustic set throughout the afternoon and there will be face painting and art activity sheets for the little ones too.
