This first European retrospective presents more than 30 years of Lorna Simpson's work across the mediums of photography, film, video, and drawing. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Simpson became well-known in the mid-1980s for her conceptually rigorous and language driven large-scale works.

We're celebrating the autumn/winter season of exhibitions with a party. Join us and be one of the first to see a major two-floor exhibition of work by international artist Jim Shaw. There's also a chance to see exhibitions from Zoë Walker & Neil Bromwich, Bojan Fajfrić and Tris Vonna-Michell.
Party into the early hours in River Terrace with headline DJ Smoove (from Smoove & Turrell). Look out for drinks promotions throughout the night.
