This first European retrospective presents more than 30 years of Lorna Simpson's work across the mediums of photography, film, video, and drawing. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Simpson became well-known in the mid-1980s for her conceptually rigorous and language driven large-scale works.

Be the first to see the Thomas Scheibitz exhibition ONE-Time Pad at BALTIC’s SUMMER-Time Social, where all exhibitions will be open for a special late night event. After taking a wander around the galleries, guests are invited to finish the evening with a few long delicious cocktails in River Terrace and watch the sun go down behind the city’s iconic bridges.
The galleries will be open from 20.00-21.00 and the public bar will stay open until 23.00.
